A 1963 autopsy specimen from a 21 year old woman with a three month history of weight loss, cough and occassional blood stained sputum. X-ray showed a left pleurisy and pneumonia. Sputum contained actinomycoses and there was a progressively downhill course with development of metastatic abscesses in the skin, heart and bones (see also 1817).
