Harriet Parnell

Harriet is a first year PhD student at the University of Nottingham working in the mid-infrared photonics group. Her investigations focus on chalcogenide glasses and their promising application in the medical industry as an early tool for cancer diagnosis.
When she hasn’t got her hands stuck in a glove box, you’ll find her outside with other fellow PhD researchers attempting to play netball!
