First came across those a couple of years ago in a book on anger management, which said they were anonymous.
Found them on the net later, too, with a few claimants, but I guess they really are anonymous. As to the source, no idea, probably buddhist by the sound of it, although I like your Jedi suggestion a lot, too. [
