Solar Wind Is?

Solar wind, makes comet tails and the moon flag waved a bit, and there's the Aurora Borealis... What is it?  Helium, Helium 3, calcium nuclei, electrons...? the blast from the sun.

The Solar wind is composed of charged particles (mainly electrons, protons) ejected from the upper layer of the sun's atmosphere. A google-type search will result in a bevy of sites that talk about the solar wind - click newbielink:http://umbra.nascom.nasa.gov/spartan/the_solar_wind.html [nonactive] for a NASA site that'll get the ball rolling for you.
