Brown noise is supposed to be the resonant frequency of your digestive system, so if it is played loud enough it will traumatise your bowl causing it to dump it's contents unceremoniously... I am sure that CHris will correct me but I think it is around 3-7Hz

If the range of frequencies is this large your bowl is probably quite well damped so the volume would have to be huge, and producing noise at this frequency is very difficult - you would need some serious sub-sub-sub woofers..

Dave..I thought you were joking...but you're not are you ?

Sounds like it would make a great party trick at the 'Sewer Works Ball for the Fragile of Disposition and Nervous in Nature Workers Union'

...but does it really work ?...this is not the kind of empirical study that I personally would want to try...

So, basically, it IS a wet fart - albeit with "follow-through".

Yeuchh!

i think there is a lot of variation of the actual figure but ive heard of anyhting between 2 and 20 hz. they had an experiment concerning brown noise on braniac tv show and apparently a cat did follow through lol. anyway it wont work on any normal speakers because they dont go below 20hz as that is the lowest frequency human beings can hear. Apparently the military are using brown noise for something, but what that is god only knows
