The worst form of allergy I can imagine, as you probably know, is cod liver oil allergy!

Post by: another_someone on 27/11/2006 03:11:00: Allergies are not themselves contagious, but we don't always know what causes the allergy (I don't mean the actual attack, but what causes someone who was insensitive to an allergen to becoming sensitive to that allergen), and I could imagine that in some cases that might initially be caused by an infection that triggers an immune response that later becomes confused with the allergen.

Post by: moonfire on 28/11/2006 14:39:08: Interestingly, almost everyone I was around yesterday, Tarek, Valen, Ida, Steiven had the same issue...I have a feeling though I am the only one who is well all ready as I noticed they were drinking carbonated beverages, eating junk food, and still have no idea how they had an appetite for the such...it will be interesting....well, i did forget Tarek was eating his own food....not junk...so we will see...

Post by: moonfire on 29/11/2006 06:51:36: Everyone is still sneezing and hacking while I am very well...tortilla soup, chicken soup, chicken soup, tortilla soup, water,water,water,one ibuprofen to combat sore throat from drainage when it was first sore, herbal tea, herbal tea, herbal tea, carnation milk breakfast...for the fat to aid immune system, okay, I did have some ice cream dibs...but did you expect me to be good the whole entire time...lol I am completely well...also, took a sudafed strip non drowsy, which still made me feel drowsy yesterday....everyone is still sick...oh, I will change out my toothbrush tomorrow too...so I don't go back through this again...YEAH NO DOCTOR!!!

Itried all three the other day when sick, just couln't even keep water down.. am feeling much better. just a bit of nasel congestion and chest congestion, always wants to hold on and make me cough all that nasty stuff out! Yikes I hate being sick and am glad am feeling so much better!

Will be from friday night 15th of dec. until Jan. 8th!!! YAYYYYYYYYYY! I so need a big break from work!! I love my work, but being sick and drained and having tons of stuff going on at home and in my head... I am so looking forward to time off. I have never been so glad for a vacation... So weird that I am now!!! It will drive me mad being away from my little troops as I love them so much!!! I just really need some time to think and relax!!! I will be seeing lots of this forum!! We've got cheap flights to Marrakech and will spend a few days there, then probably get a train to Casablanca to spend a few days. We've not booked hotels or anything, should be okay 'cos it's out of season. I'm really looking forward to exploring the 'old' medinas (old town/quarter) and soukes (markets).

Went to Morocco a good few years ago with a friend but we spent the time in Tangiers. Two blond girls, you can guess the hassle we had (even a fake wedding ring didn't help)! At least my other half will be with me this time.
