Question

How much energy is released when a positron and an electron collides? I mean in practical terms. Cheers!

Answer

We posed this question to Professor Andy Parker from Cambridge University...

Andy - In scientific terms, it's about 10-13 Joules which means you'd need to do that about a thousand, million, million times to warm up your cup of tea.
