Just wondering, does anyone experience any symptoms when the masturbate but not actually have an O?
I know I do. Im experimenting with amino acids at the moment, in particular L-tyrosine as I have been thinking if this has something to do with Dopamine, Serotonin levels and if for some reason I have an excess or shortage of these neurotransmitters. O's will only make this worse if there are any imbalances. After all, isnt having an O one of the greatest pleasure the body can experience. Just my own theory im exploring for what its worth... Im thinking about getting these levels tested to see how balanced I am
I got an urina test and sent it to the lab 2 weeks ago, with the following tests :
serotonin
dopamine
noradrenaline
melatonin
Still no answer but I will update when it arrives...
QuoteUsually, the skin is more sensitive after shaving it, so i don't know if it's a normal reaction or not.
I wondered if we can simulate a prique-test by using a shaver and removing epidermis on a short area of the skin, and then put semen.
Following the discussions about astaxanthin in salmon I tried krill oil again with the rest of my current supplementation regime (niacin, multi-vit in the morning, zma at night and at least 2.5g vit c during the day). Have had 2 0's during the 5 days I've tried it. I should be wrecked from POIS, jet lag and travel/work related stress but I actually feel even better than I did at the start of this supplementation. Krill oil is adding something else that wasn't there with my standard trigylceride fish oil.
I've had very little POIS symptoms. They might even be normal responses to an O. I can't quite figure it out as I've never known "normal" responses before. The turning point for me was when I discovered niacin. Things just started to improve and I take it almost every morning when I wake up. It feels odd to flush each morning but it's better to feel odd than depressed and scatter brained. But on days when I feel really good and don't intend to have an O, I skip the extra 100mg and just take the 50 with my multi-vit. So far so good.
Not a problem, demografx. Thank you for the response. My bloodwork was as follows:
Name, Result, Reference.
Follicle Stimlating Hormone: 1.6mIU/mL, (1.3 - 19.3) Lower End
Jon, i remember my FSH hormone was also in the lower end!
Interesting, Quasar. Were you able to get the levels back to normal? And, If so, What did you to fix it?

I tend to try and stay active in the gym and such. After activity like basketball I usually feel weak and shake, Jittery.. Feels like it could be hypoglycemia type symptoms but I'm not sure. Does anyone else feel this and what can be done about it?
Thanks all.
Jon.
the cure you seek may lay with this research:

interesting Defsync. I found another interesting link off of the one you gave. It's about a condition where a person gets amnesia after sex:

I've recently been experimenting with melatonin, the chemical your brain naturally produces to help you fall asleep, and have had surprisingly good results.

^ the product I am using
After O'ing three times the previous night, I took just one pill of melatonin and had some deeply restful sleep. Usually I have nightmares on day 0 of POIS. Funny my last dream I had in POIS some guy was telling me that I should O 3 times per 2 weeks. Lol really weird. But today I could say I really haven't been in a better mood. Very productive at work (I work saturdays, college student).
Also, I can say that I recently took two lexapro over two days that were prescribed to me a while ago by my doctor. All I can say is that didn't work at all and did not help sleep. This is definitely not depression. I thought it would help me sleep because I had good experience with nutmeg (not recommended and potentially harmful) known for it's "antidepressant" affects and help with sleep, I wouldn't be surprised if my post is edited for just bringing that up.
Well guys, this is kinda sad, Pois is ruining my life, Im missing school because im so sick from it and im too embarrassed to tell the nurse whats wrong. This is ruining my life. It really sucks
