So what I expect that we can do, is to implement a real fossil ban, and take the consequences as they come. We're pretty good at short time solutions, what you call 'adapting', but we sucks when it comes to long range planning.
Weathering is incredibly expensive, and won't do sh* unless you have a fossil ban simultaneously. And you have to consider where those basics ends, before you do it. You need a plan, which you don't have.
Hiding it, f.ex aerosols 'cooling' the atmosphere is sheer stupidity unless you have that total fossil ban going simultaneously. Without it it will just build up, and once we no longer can push that atmosphere any further, come back several times stronger than before. As well as we don't really know what we're doing.
The kid isn't claiming he has only hearing loss from listening to his Airpods over extended periods. He's claiming that an Amber Alert instantaneously ruptured his eardrums. According to the CDC a sound over 120 dB will cause instant hearing damage (but not eardrum rupture). 150 dB will cause eardrum rupture.

Nicotine poisoning can indeed be fatal, but the specifics of how it's administered and its effects vary. Consulting credible sources or experts in toxicology can provide valuable insights for crafting a believable narrative. On this page you should find low nicotine vapes. They are less harmful.
and here's a pretty good support for what I state too. That it won't stop even if we did, today. It will stay for a long time, and the way we are going, even to a tipping.
