Imagine a perfect void. In it are two fundamental positively charged particles. The question is, how fast would these particles view each other moving away from one another?
I think that distance and force would remain constant relative to one another, therefore the two particles would view themselves as accelerating the same even as distance increased. All magnitudes can only be defined relative to something else (a particle) a void is nothing, you can not conclude that the force would decrease as the length of the void became increasingly large.
