To be honest, it seems that reply was prepared without regard to whatever would be replied to the initial post.
Having worked in numerous projects, i have to say that _excess_ of communication has never been a problem in those projects, and i don't think it ever will. (I could rant on about _lack_ of communication in project based environments, but that's not the subject here)
"Mark Bauerlein" should consider what those people of the "younger generations" would be doing if they didn't have the internet. They wouldn't necessarily be reading Goethe, or study Van Gogh's art style. What would the same individuals have been doing had they lived a hundred years ago? Deeper culture or creativity has never been for everyone, but i reiterate my statement that it has never been as accessible as it is now.
