That sounds like mythical moon-worms, which are actually shreds of bowel-lining, caused by enemas of so-called MMS.
So if the enema "treatment" , (which is actually the cause of the "worms"), is applied on a lunar cycle, the appearance of the "worms" will also be synchronized to the moon.
