Inspired by Pauls Apple/Oink question I want to know where the tradition for consuming Turkeys at Chrimbo came from.
Are the others fares traditional too ? ie: goose ?...ham ?.....chestnuts ?
What did EWE have for Chrimbo meal ?

I don't like turkey so I had a joint of beef marinaded in beer and the usual
roast veg. I think that the turkey traditions go back to the Victorians or
Edwardians days.

Rosalind Franklin was my first cousin and one my life's main regrets is that I never met this brilliant and beautiful lady.
She discovered the Single DNA Helix in 1953, then it was taken by Wilkins without her knowledge or agreeement.

Karen, I believe it's the name of a turkey manufacturer in the UK. Comparable to Butterball over here.
