Another 80's flashback -
music video here
.
I have been to 9 countries, and quite literally I did spend one night in Bangkok, on new years 2006-2007... the same evening that terrorists bombed the city (one of those 'I was there moments'). It turned many a hard man humble. (beyond this, I can't really talk about it).
Have you ever had a song match a personal experience of yours?

I once heard The Birdie Song while I was eating roast chicken. Does that count?

Yes sir!
I can boogie
. (but it needs a certain song)
And
I believe
I
partied like it was 1999
, but I'm not sure because it was about 10 years ago. It may have been
the land of make believe
- I have certainly been there from time to time, generally tansported by
red red wine
.
I did have
brass in pocket
, but I foolishly chose to
use it up and wear
it out (see above).
In the Summertime
I seem to recall spending
seasons in the sun
.
This is quite fun but I guess I should let soemone else have a go.

I can remember singing "We don't need no education" by pink floyd. We were at a school (lunch time) disco. We had to pay 50p to get in. This song nearly caused riots, especially if teachers we didn't like were on lunch duty.

Judging by the content of some posts I think "They're Coming To Take Me Away" would be appropriate in a lot of cases. [

For those who don't know the song, here's some chap who has made his own video to go with the original recording.
