Physics, Astronomy & Cosmology / Is this a new paradox of energy?
« on: 02/03/2011 20:24:31 »I got my answer and everything else is crap actually what happens is that a systems internal energy is defined from a frame of reference in which the center of mass is at rest and hence adding potential energy to the system does not add to its internal energy. A steady state is established in terms of internal energy for these works performed.
Doesn't it depend on the material? Our bodies produce heat, as form of energy, if the materail has the ability to store that heat then surely there would be an energy increase and so a weight change in the material while that heat was present. As a simple point.
