The easiest way to get attention is do a prat fall, I'm surprised that none of our MPs use this ploy...especially when there are TV cameras. They would get my vote.
What are MP's?
It is probably because they have been asleep and suddenly realise it has gone quiet so they all jump up looking confused and then quickly sit down again so that they don't look stupid.
There are electrodes on each seat. The Speaker has buttons to activate them.
No Neil the MPs jump up to get the Speakers attention so that they can ask the PM a question or just heckle him or another MP from another side. It's called tradition more like a kindergarten/bear garden
And they're continually jumping up...why?
