In regards to creating a product, I simply don't have the means for it. It may be something that could be initiated by a University as it has the potential to return value for society but also for students, who will be able to perform better in study when not being harmed by air pollution. It could also be a great marketing tool to attract international students.
I am involved with a independent electric mobility promotion platform. I recently spoke with the founder of a big electric motorcycle blog in Europe and he never heard of air pollution by disc brakes. It appears that in 2019, many people never considered that disc brakes are a major cause of air pollution. If people don't know about it, such problems may remain unaddressed for decades.
After talking to bike-users and noticing recent studies showing that air pollution has a greater effect on their health, while bikers usually care more about their health, I started to think about a solution for them and considered that especially the metal particles from disc brakes - the most toxic particles - may be able to be repelled by a invisible electric or magnetic field.
Hopefully the question (and your answer) may lead to insights to help inspire others.
