a good way to start an argument.
It seems every British blogger/vlogger has a different opinion on the matter. It's like a personal thing in the UK, and a good way to start an argument.
Since none of you has mentioned black pudding, you are all wrong anyway.
One memorable morning in the last century I had breakfast in St Bartholomew's Hospital staff restaurant, with an American x-ray sales rep. Leathery eggs swimming in grease, bacon cut from the uppers of an army boot, 20mm black armor-piercing sausages, postmortem hypostatic tomatoes, cold rubber toast with frozen butter, and lukewarm bilge in a coffee cup. At the checkout my colleague asked "How can you f**k up an English breakfast?""800 years of practice, sir" was the smiling reply.
I have never seem anyone eat black pudding for breakfast, I know of no English breakfast menu that offers it.

How can you live with yourself?Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsburys cafes all offer black pudding for the discerning gourmet, plus lorne sausage north of the border. AFAIK you can't get a cafe licence in Birmingham if your black pudding isn't up to scratch. The reason the Scots were so keen to stay in the EU is because Stornoway Black Pudding is an appelation controlee (it contains onions, so counts as a vegetable in Scotland). There's a guy in Wolverhampton market who only sells black pudding: none of your effete stuff in a poncey sausage skin, but serious man-food cut in half-pound bricks like school dinner chocolate sponge used to be. It's worth seeking out its garlicky cousin boudin noir for a continental treat - the only reason (apart from the imaginary Heinkels and Messerschmitts) for the aero club annual lunch in Le Touquet . Sadly, the Barts story wasn't a joke.
Sorry congenialed pigs blood is disgusting.
