The industrial revolution was an illusion, promising 'everyone' a infinite wealth, with our global game centralizing it to a very few.  Ideologies notwithstanding.  You can definitely ignore whatever pompous ideals existing for that one.

And those of us instinctively realizing it lifted up to role models

Nothing new about it of course, we've been doing much the same the last 11 000 years or so, ever since we left the hunter gatherer state.

And it has worked, mostly. If it didn't we ran.

And that's also what is destroying us. Nowhere to run, and nowhere to turn.

And then water, groundwater, topsoil, deforestation's, urbanization's, pollution, pesticides, plastics, chemicals, over populations and our game added to it

And no one wants a change, except those finding their home disappearing.

And that's it. That's the way we behave, and have behaved.

We call it 'adapting'

You won't adapt to a major tipping, or even a tipping cascade. We have never meet one, and we have no clue to what it means, meeting it.

Climate science has a clue, but that one is too abstract for us.

And using our own instincts, and experiences, it just seem too farfetched, doesn't it?

And probabilities and statistics are, as far as I know, consistent, creating  'laws', by their own.

I dont see how they create laws. They describe what happens.
The normal distribution of height in a human population would still be there even if we didn’t have the tools to describe and analyse it.
