New Theories / Re: Post Orgasmic Illness Syndrome (POIS)
« on: 25/03/2011 22:21:07 »Hi demo,
I have dry orgasm now - and no POIS for 2 years.
Animus, sorry to ask you to repeat things, but for the newcomers, can you say how you achieve dry orgasm?
Thank you very much!
Thanks for asking! I don't mind repeating it as long as I'm not being a broken record..! I see there are a lot of newcomers. I had surgery 2 years ago to remove the organs which produce all the seminal components. We reduced the size of the prostate, and removed the seminal vesicles, testicles, and cauterized the ejaculatory ducts. I now have dry ejaculation because my body no longer produces any semen.
It was a radical, expensive operation. And it means I no longer can produce testosterone or have children, but I've banked my semen, and I take artificial Testo. So it has been a big adjustment, but it has also cured my POIS. I just hope there is a way to cure POIS without expensive surgery.
Hate being this nosey, but was this to cure yourself of POIS?
PS.
Yes, not nosy at all! I had a very severe case of POIS. It had ruined my life in a way. My relationships were ruined, my work ability was suffering a lot. I had become very dependent on my family. And my general health had begun to decline dramatically too, and I was only in my 30s. So I found myself in a desperate situation facing continued decline, or possible cure, and I chose to do the surgery. And it has fortunately paid off. There are still a lot of other things I'm working on to improve my life, of course, but this major health affliction is cured now. And I'm still interested in finding a general cure for it, and learn more about it because I know how hard it is to live with.
