It is a rather versitale little camera, able to use sheet film or 120 roll film with the adaptor back. I also have older 35 mm film cameras with many lenses, filters etc. - up to a 400X with its own tripod. The big problem, none of this will fit onto any of the new hi-end digital cameras by Nikon or Cannon. All the lenses are Pentax screw mount. I am in the market for a conversion sub from Pentax to Cannon mount adapter. Then I'll be set. There is a company in the UK called SRB who make adapters to fit Pentax screw (M42) lenses to modern SLR bodieshttp://www.srb-griturn.com/m42-lenses-on-canon-eos-224-p.aspUnfortunately these adapters do not have automatic diaphragm stop-down, (i.e. your view through the lens is at the taking aperture, so can be very dim at small apertures). If you have an extreme lens in M42 screw mount (e.g. long-telephoto, large aperture) it may be worth the cost of buying an adapter to use it on a digital SLR rather than buying an expensive new extreme lens. NB: some of these adapters (not the M42 to Cannon EOS) include a diverging lens to allow infinity focus, this lens can reduce image quality somewhat and increase the effective focal length. There is also an unavoidable decrease in viewing angle when fitting any 35mm lens to a digital camera because the digital sensor chip is smaller than the 35mm frame. So your 400mm lens will give the view of a 600mm lens when fitted to a digital SLR.
