Jennifer Henderson asked the Naked Scientists:
Hi!
My name is Jennifer.  I was reading on one of your subjects, "why do humans breath cold and hot air?" I was wondering if there was an experiment I could do for a science fair on that topic???
Thanks!!
Jennifer H.
What do you think?

Temperature probes (thermistors) are used to measure respiration rate …

It would be possible to make a respiration rate monitor as a science project,
although this would largely be an electronics project rather than a biological one.
