Where are they now?
« on: 14/07/2008 09:16:03 »
Many of us, when we were children, had an imaginary friend which we named and included in our everyday life; insisting that a place be laid at table etc - much to the bewilderment of others.
I had two, but never got to know their names as they would only play with one another.
The question is: where are they now - what were their names and has anyone heard from their friends since?

I love this question.. and to some extent.. My youngest son had an imaginary friend he called Bird! Bird and him went flying all the time.... He always offered me a ride on Birds Plane.. He said Bird wanted for me to fly around the world with him and Nathan just us three! LOL He was so cute! I found out when Nate was older that bird was a stuffed parrot that he had since birth and he said that bird really talked to him and they really were palls and that Bird took him all over the world on his airplane.. LOL Bird did not use his wings to fly because apparently bird had a pilot's license and an airplane! LOL....

I still have bird out in the trailer in a toy box! LOL.. I never had an imaginary friend as a child.. and was kind of a loner and was my own best friend!

My brother had an imaginary enermy. Her name was Jinny Green teeth and she lived in the pond outside. Turned out that he had heard a real legend of the water hag in Cheshire and it had really sparked his imagination. I guess she is lurking in some swamp somewhere now.

My son had a scape goat friend who had always done the naughty stuff he had done. His name was Bob. He now blames the cat instead.
