Physics, Astronomy & Cosmology / Watching time... rewind.
« on: 01/03/2006 19:20:59 »
Last night I was layed in bed and started thinking about the speed of light.
I then thought what it would be like to see things rewind...
I came up with this theory: If we were to find a planet with life on, and were to focus an attached telescope on a designated point, on a spaceship capable of traveling faster that light. If we were to fly the ship away from the planet faster than the speed of light, we would infact see time reversing itself. Time would not actually reverse, but it would seem like it was, get it.
If this could be done which I SERIOUSLY doubt is possible, it would help in solving crimes, or settling disputes... I realise there are many problems with this and I'd love your opinions on it. Thanks []
