Chemistry / What happens if we add water to a methanol-tetrahydrofuran solution?
« on: 14/09/2018 16:25:27 »
Hello guys
I Hope You Are Doing Well
Here is my question:
I combine methanol and tetrahydrofuran and there will be a hydrogen bond between them
Then I add water to this solution.
so what do we have here?
a hydrogen bond between water and methanol?
a hydrogen bond between water and THF?
or a hydrogen bond between methanol+THF?
or none of them?
Can anyone explain why and how it Happens?
Thanks
