OK Apologies , it would appear that I need to add some more detail .
The hypothesis is basically that the universe 'grows' from a very small base and time flow changes with each expansion of that universe .
To whit : at the very start of the universe, T=1, where one couplet has formed pushing the universe into existence and is not going to self destruct . There is no time flow , it just is .
T=2 . This is where a second couplet is going to spin off. Now 'movement' along that time dimension is possible and thus time can flow .
Taking the observer possibilities : from far out from the Universe , there is still no time [ both positive and negative cancel] . From inside the universe , the time can vary from 1 to -1 depending on where the observer is in relation to the particulates inside.
T=3 , another couplet flies away . Couplets will accelerate into existence more frequently due to the Universe having more space for these couplets to form/self destruct.
Where the observer is fixed within that universe though , the time flow is going to be affected by the 2 polarities and thus will appear to be smooth. the observer wouldn't realise that the flow was accelerating of course unless they could observe parts of the universe where time flows were slower [ eg distant stars] .
