Thanks, that makes sense. That also explains why dark matter is extremely unlikely to clump together sufficiently to form a black hole by itself.
But doesn't that also mean, since dark matter is so weakly interacting, that much of the clumping we observe today is due to nonuniformity in dark matter distribution after the big bang?
