I was talking to an old friend in a coffee shop and he referred to a girls face as being pixelated. I assumed he meant dotted and blurry but he meant it was like a pixie.
Has anyone else had a similar lingo misunderstanding?

I remember a very old Gary Cooper film (I think it was '
Mr Deeds goes to town
') where the term 'pixelated' was used as a euphemism for being the worse for drink.
