If you imagine cutting through the hair and looking down it, the cross-section can appear from more or less circular to a flattened oval shape. If the shape of the cross-section is quite flat, you are more likely to have wavy or curly hair (like a piece of ribbon). If instead it is round, you are likely to have straighter hair.

That's interesting.

But its just like aruond my ears and at the back bottom sides of my hair. Is there a reason its only there?

My Mum always said that eating bread crusts makes your hair curly. However, I know that it is inheritted. Your parents may not have curly hair but a past ansestor will have done. You can inherit all sorts of strange things too like tongue rolling and the ability to smell freishas (flower.)
As for it looking like a big bush, are you sure you are looking at your head?
