I use predictive text too! I s use teo hate it but have learned to like it a lot.

I text with my left thumb and my right pointer and middle fingers.  so with three fingers usually.
my moto Q has a stand so it can be tilted up on a table surface and typed on like that at an angle.  I love it.

one downfall is that the keys are so small my fingersoften hit an extra key also.

the best way to text is one thumbed, while driving, with all your mates in the car, loud doof doof music, while eating a hamburger out of a non biodegradable container.

depends on the situation....if your not supposed to be useing your cell you text one hand and practice behind your back....i dont even need to look on the screen though it makes me a tad slower. but if you are able to use 2 hands and its alot faster

I just use one thumb - I usually have to text to the number which tells me when the bus is supposed to be coming so my other hand is usually holding bags!

Isn't the 'right way' to text by using correct spelling? Why the need to invent a new language? As for how to text, surely it's whatever is comfortable.
