I was a blond kid pre-school, hair turned fairly dark brown, then later gray & finally white. Now I have a spot near my part line turning dark & my barber claims I have another spot turning dark on the back of my head. Never heard of such a thing!

My hair changed colour as I grew up. I was born with white hair, by the time I was 10 it was dark brown. At 17 it was blond, and in my 20s it went dark again. It is now reverting to its original colour (or it would were it not for the dye  [:D] )

Possibly be due to ageing reducing testosterone levels causing the hair to be thicker and consequently appear darker.

If you have dark spots on your scalp which are increasing in number then you should definitely have them examined by a dermatologist.
