More people with Epilepsy are at risk of drowning
« on: 26/08/2008 12:21:49 »
As this article says that more people with Epilepsy are at risk of drowning becauswe the seizures can come without enough warning to get out of the water.

Specially if it's deep water or in a crowded pool but if the individual takes a friend with them then their lives are safer I think.

Rosalind can't swim.

She discovered the Single DNA Helix in 1953, then it was taken by Wilkins without her knowledge or agreeement.

Sorry Rosalind, I accidentally deleted my post.

Just that if I had epilepsy I would not go for a recreational swim, the risk of drowning would be too high.
Here is a link to the health & safety regulations for UK drivers with epilepsy.

RD that's ok and I have done that one but I can't drive nor I wish to do so but I am aware of the driving laws regarding epilepsy.

Then sometimes I think that some people should have more sense than they do. I am not referring to myself.
