Where Are The Voyager Probes Today ?

Dearest Voyager-ologists.

Voyagers 1 & 2 are my all time favourite space probe things which have golden records on them :

Here’s Voyager:

 and here’s the record:

Nice eh ?

So, where are Voyager 1 & 2 now ? and is there a record player included so that our alien chums will know what to do with it ?  How was the final destination chosen and where is that final destination ?

Also, do you think we should send another one out with a DVD or Blu ray disc on it and a sat nav ?

This is important y’know ?

Thank Ewe for your kind consideration in this matter

They are both working being used and pretty close to the heliopause which is the edge of the influence of the gases from the sun and those of interstellar space.  googling voyager will give you lots of data including the web sites of the probes.
