When (or if) astronomers make the discovery of intelligent extra-terrestrial life it will surly win the Nobel Prize. In what field would the prize be awarded? You'd think it would be physics, which covers astronomical discoveries. (there is no independent prize for astronomy) or in biology which covers the discovery of new life forms. Or could it possibly be the Peace prize if such a discovery were to lead to the end of war?
