Since you are 8 y.o. I won't use complex concepts so I'll have to be simplistic.Fire, at least the common kind, comes from a chemical reactions which frees gas molecules and a lot of energy. This energy is responsible for the hot: all molecules of the flame moves quick and so the flame's temperature is high. The quicker they move, the hotter the fire.Bye!
