Hi,
    Can you tell me what is the truth behind the so called biodiscs and other such related products?  I have heard about such products from Amezcua (http://www.amezcua.com [nofollow]) for some time now.
    But, I recently saw that this was proven during a scientific test: "http://blog.qnet.net/2011/03/amezcua-bio-disc-proven-effective-during-another-scientific-test/ [nofollow]".
    I could not find the details of the test that was done or, how exactly these things work.  All I could find from the Amezcua website was this:

I think it's junk. There's no science behind it (apart from the psychology of marketing trash to the gullible and possibly the placebo effect)

I guessed it.  But, what I am really interested in knowing is what is the scientific basis for what they claim they can do (even if it is flawed).  And what is the reason a scientific institution is interested in validating them and coming up with a positive result.
