Why are extracellular hemoglobin higher in molecular mass than intra cellular hemoglobins?
My note on Biochemistry says it is so that the cell won't wrinkle. This cell wrinkiling would be caused by the higher concentration of Oxygen in body fluid than that of cell fluid.
How does the concentration of Oxygen relate to the molecular weight of hemoglobin?
