Dear Sir, For your edification, please find enclosed a photo of a black and white gear from the early fifties alongside and a highly colourful gear that I just made.
You associate monochrome photography with art, other image formats have other associations ... [ Invalid Attachment ] [ Invalid Attachment ] [ Invalid Attachment ]
My personal feeling on this, is the contrast. Monochrome pictures have a greater contrast impact than colour (US = color) pictures. As a monochrome sheepy, what nursery rhyme were you taught in place of 'Bah Bah Black Sheep'? Might it have been 'Parsley, Mint, Rosemary & Gravy'?
SOUNDS GOOD! I'm starving!!!..lol....I love the "cartoonalized", or animated picture...very cool!Hey I made up a word because animated is not the right word either....AH HA...ILLUSTRATED...only in cartoon style.Neily whats the proper word for what a cartoonist does? I can't recall?
So, why does a Black and White Photo offer more impact than a colour one ?
I remember some old BW science fiction movies which, objectively, have litte "content" but that really impressed me when I was a boy, in the 80' (colour movies already existed []) because of the feelings they conveyed to me.
