The same could be said of much of human behaviour – the problem is the contradiction between the scientific/medical notion of the human brain as merely a biological process, and the philosophical concept of free will.

That we have biological processes that promote infidelity is without question – the question arises as to what are the contrary pathways that promote fidelity (since it is self-evident that while some people are unfaithful, others are not – so both possibilities must exist).
