Arthur Nilson asked the Naked Scientists:
I understand your answer the the question about the north pole ice cap melting, but I was shocked and disappointed that you did not immediately point out that the ice cap on greenland, and the south pole are on land and would raise the ocean level significantly.
What do you think?

What pod cast does it refer to?
As for Greenland the ice melt is even more noticeable as I understands it? The South pole isn't in the same category as the North pole, although you have the western part that might start to glide down the 'slope' of it, breaking of in the deeps outside its continental shelf?
