I listened to the recent GM podcast on Naked Genetics and if I remember correctly Jonathan Jones mentioned introducing a bacterium into the plants genetics. This immediately reminded me of the
Endosymbiotic Theory
. We as Eukaryotes are a kind of GM. Thats a stretch, I know, but it came to mind whilst listening to the show.
