Could be that in a generation wind farming will be as widespread as other human activities that are blamed for damaging the environment. So are we sure it won't as well?
It should be a fairly easy task to to modify a prediction program such as are run on super computers by a developed nations weather forecasting operation.
So has anybody bothered? I ask because my gut feeling would be a general reduction in wind speed leading to occasional super storms when pressure differences overwhelmed the windmills ability to absorb energy.
