I was
listening to the q&a show
, and wonder the following: when older people here in Sweden get cataracts (unsure of the spelling) they get standard lenses in a replacement surgery procedure. After a time they can then, according to our healthcare service, see clearly because the brain can adjust... is this true?
If so, why do 40 year olds need glasses because of their lenses becoming harder? Shouldn't this apply here too then?
