Does the Earth spin or is it the fields of the Earth that spin ?
« on: 02/07/2017 13:06:37 »
Does the Earth spin or is it the fields of the Earth that spin and spin the Earth with the field?

added - the reason I ask is because in front of me I have one of those horrible fidget spinner things, at the moment it is at relative rest.  I was thinking that the spinner is giving off unseen fields, then I thought to myself the fields are also at rest relative to the spinner.  I then thought if I could then spin these unseen fields without touching the spinner, then the field will then rotate the spinner.

added - Thinking further I have tried to move the fields of the spinner with my hand , my hand had no affect on the spinners fields, an outcome I easily predicted, however would my hand affect the field of the spinner if my hand had more mass than the inertial rest frame?
An equal and opposing force to the inertial mass that keeps the spinner at relative rest.

    Mr Thebox,
Ok, Suppose if you cross our Earth climate, what happens you will be thrown to weightless condition.  How you lost your weight.  What helped you to loose your weight.  The same thing that helped you to feel weightless condition is also making the Earth in weightless condition.

Let us assume that Earth and fields are all in inertial position.  Earth is not a moving object and it got no strength to move by itself.  Some force or pressure must be applied to move it.  Actually the field that  pushed Earth to weightless is also applying some force or pressure to spin.  When some force or pressure is applied on the frame, it start moving along with Earth.

In fact it is the Frame that is dragging the Earth and not the Earth.

I do not know if that is fact, but speculatively yes the frame drags the Earth around. The Earth sort of being ''stuck'' to the frame and vice versus the frame ''stuck'' to the Earth.
