Online journal club for neuroscience and psychology?
« on: 06/02/2018 20:41:24 »
Hi all, I'm wondering if anyone is interested in joining an online meet-up group to discuss research related to neuroscience and psychology. I'm currently a cog neuro PhD student and don't like the idea of getting stuck in the bubble of my current lab, talking about the same research topics and ideas. This could be a way to share knowledge and perspectives on current research with any interested people across the internet.

I set up a website to make this happen (onneuro.github.io), and had the first monthly meet-up a few weeks back, talking about how cognition may or may not affect perception. I wanted to share because right now the group is quite small. Sorry if I'm not active on these forums here (or if this is seen as advertising), but I do listen to the podcast so I thought likeminded people may be interested.

Do you guys discuss nootropics on your "scientific meetings?" I am interested in purchasing  iQ2 nootropic to maintain good health of my brain. What is your scientific opinion on such a matter, mate?
