Do you think that the microbiome of the lungs is the difference between asymptomatic and symptomatic sufferers of COVID-19? Perhaps those with pre existing conditions have taken drugs that change the microbiome of their lungs and have not got the same natural protection afforded by the normal lung flora. Would it be possible to do a sputum microbiota transplant similar to how a faecal microbiota transplant would work, from an asymptomatic-positive to a symptomatic-positive patient?
