What usually causes wrist pain?
« on: 23/11/2021 15:35:54 »
My left wrist and the base of my thumb hurt a little when I twist or flex them a certain way.

And please no jokes like "You'll have to masturbate with your right hand".

Then don't  twist or flex them that certain way.

That's your impersonation of an obtuse doctor, is it?
"Doctor, I hit my head on the corner of the kitchen cupboard and now there's a soft mushy depression in my scalp that makes my head spin when I touch it"
"Well don't touch it then."

Ask your doctor what he thinks.

No.
It's my way of pointing out that the OP shouldn't expect medical advice on line to be any good.

In fairness, I think  Origin's way of putting it

Ask your doctor what he thinks.

was probably better (give or take the fact that some doctors are "she" rather than "he").

"Well don't touch it then."
That would be very sound advice, wouldn't it?
