Does withholding sex have potential for marital/relationship issues?
« on: 30/11/2020 03:31:28 »
A coworker told me her husband makes the most annoying sound when he eats, and refuses to conform to her liking. I suggested she withhold sex. She's considering it. Thoughts, reactions?

Withholding sex will probably result in him finding a mistress who is less concerned wuth his minor faults.

When the sound of someone eating grinds in a relationship, it's probably nowt the eating that is at fault. Is there anything else, dress sense, taste in music that grinds on her? Is he doing it on purpous or is it a pattern of disregarding behaviour? Speaking from a generation where parents had more splits that a bowling alley, bite the bullet before it turns messy.

Why would she punish herself?

Sounds like this marriage is not in a good state already, they need to examine their relationship carefully.

Just to be clear, my suggestion of withholding sex was a joke that she somewhat took seriously.

You could also have tried " shall we have an affair" in that case. Equally comic.

She prefers men with smoother, more luxurious penises. Therefor it would never workout.

Most men are equipped with one penis. Perhaps she should try a marsupial. Or the Tory front bench, for a bunch of smooth dicks.
