I'm a little surprised to see a question encouraging the dissemination of medical advice here.  The antiseptic creams I have seen all are for topical use.  Since the creams specifically indicate that they are for topical use only allowing the cream to come in contact with a mucous membrane could very well be dangerous.

And it may well be dangerous too.

A mask will be much more effective at keeping COVID out of your nose.
- And if it does get into your system, a vaccine is the most effective way of suppressing it.

I recall one president recommending injecting bleach or disinfectant to combat COVID.
- Fortunately, most people recognized that this was unbelievably stupid.
- But apparently there is an ongoing market for Chlorine Dioxide (a bleach) to combat COVID.
