Can anyone tell me who is Stephen Hawking.

he is one of the most well known physicists of our generation.  Probably the most notable "genius" post einstein.  He is well known for his book "A brief history of the universe" and is also quite often portrayed in animated comedies such as the simpsons, family guy, etc.  due to his distinctive wheel chair and voice machine.
